Strong Economy: Food Stamps Hit Record Costs
Many argue the economy is strong. If that’s the case, why did food stamps hit record costs?
The Agriculture Department, expanded food-stamp benefits by evading the process for determining benefits and end-running Congressional review.
The cost of the federal food stamps program known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) increased to a record $119.5 billion in 2022.
That increased by 78 percent to $230.88 in 2022.
With the economy heading for a financial destruction, the number of participants had increased from 35.7 million in 2019 to 41.2 million in 2022.
The people voted for the welfare state. Or did they?
Some feel that SNAP/EBT/food stamps are corporate welfare.
It should also be noted that state and federal entities are expanding eligibility for these welfare programs.
It used to be that you qualified if your household income fell at or below the poverty line – but no more.
Using food stamps at a convenience store isn’t maximizing the impact.
Conclusion
Those in charge, want us to eat ourselves to death at a young age, so they don’t have to pay for our benefits when we are old.
If they can afford booze and smokes, they don’t need EBT!

A country with no borders and a welfare state can’t exist for very long.
Believe it or not, there is some stipulation on purchases. Yes; no cigarettes and alcohol.
We are so being taken advantage of with this program.
There was some humility involved in using food stamps.
Now they give you a card that looks just like a credit card.
No more humility.
I never hear about food stamps running out of money. Why is that?
The fact so many Americans are on food-stamps during so-called prosperity, just goes to show the USA is the embodiment of living a lie.
When the dollar implodes, the money printing comes to an end, and the dollar is universally acknowledged as worthless.
